A bit more rambling.......

Ok, here's a bit more.

Gardening.......I love to garden. I have been gardening for many years. Little bits at at time I've expanded my garden. It's continually changing and I have big plans for it again in the spring.

I have a ton of lily bulbs to plant. LOL I suppose I should get it done soon huh? LOL Here's a couple of pics of my garden. I hope you enjoy them.

They are from late in the season, so not a lot of color.

I'm Peg. Not Margaret, not Peggi, just Peg (well actually Peggy, but hey, I like being "just Peg") LOL I could have been Penelope if my mother would not have come to her senses before they actually named me. Now "NO OFFENSE" to you gals named Penelope, OK? So don't throw stones or words at me. It's not that I don't like the name. It just doesn't fit ME. LOL

Anyhow.......I live in the little bitty town of Smolan, KS and have all of my life. (That would be 45 years.) I am married to a wonderful man named David and have been for 27 years. We have 2 great kids, Valerie (24 and married), and Austin (almost 21 and still at home). Love my kids!

We have 2 fantastic doggies , Zada (6 years old , Pekingnese-Chow-Szitzhu cross and so smart!) and MissyMae (3 month old bronze cocker spaniel). We also have a mostly black cat named Sofie.

I love to garden, knit, love my puppies and kitty and just live life. I love to meet my online friends in person and have met many of them. For the most part, just FANTASTIC folks!

Anyway, I may blog about knitting, gardening, animals, just whatever!

10-8-06 Here again!

Ok, trying this some more. So here goes.

Yesterday the entire family - DH, DD, SIL, DS and I went to the Great Salt plains in at Jet, OK to dig for salt crystals with several online friends. what fun it was! But man..........does everything hurt today! LOL We dug holes that were grave size (not as deep though! LOL). They were about 2' deep. We found some really cool selenite crystals and just had an all around great day together.

This is a picture of my friend Cheryl and I digging in our crystal hole. I met Cheryl 2 years ago and was so excited to see her again. We had a great time together.

We stopped at Applebee's in Park City, KS on the way home for a nice sit down dinner. Hubby met his match in orneriness with our waitress. She kept him in line for sure. He was almost speechless (LOL......notice I said "Almost"). LOL the man always has something to say. I guess that's why I've spent 27 years with him (as of Friday, 10-6) LOL
